College textbooks

One of the things that really upset me as a college student (and I feel pretty safe in saying this upsets many college students) is the fact that the students have to spend outrageous amounts of money on their textbooks! And once the class is over they will probably never need to use the textbook again. Yes, the bookstores offer to buy them back, but at an insultingly low price!
Even buying a used textbook is too expensive! Maybe this is where the computer and Internet age could play a larger role – allowing the students access to e-books for free during the duration of the class. Provided free to enrolled students. I’m sure they could do that! Do you hear me colleges?
