Spent a quiet night in last night. We don’t like to go out for New Year’s Eve. Yes, we’d enjoy the party, the music, the dancing. And we know it would be a lot of fun. But it just isn’t worth the aggravation of driving home late at night at the mercy of all of the drunken drivers that will be out there. And believe me, I know there are a lot of them! So we just stayed home and drank some wine and watched some television. We must be getting old, we didn’t even stay up to watch the ball in Times Square drop! We hit the sack about 11:00 – too tired to stay awake any later. Wine does that to me, I only need two glasses and I’m out like a light!
I know exactly how you feel! It is scary out there with all of those drunk drivers weaving around! Happy New Year to you too!
