He fudged it

A few weeks ago I bought a kit at the grocery store to make some chocolate fudge. My hubby made the fudge on Christmas Eve and we served it at Christmas dinner. Mom asked him if he made it from scratch and he said “yes” without batting an eye. Then Mom asked him where he found the recipe and he answered “The Internet.” Then Mom asked him for a copy of the recipe! Well of course I covered for him and told her that I’d email it to her. I figured that the next time I went grocery shopping I”d pick up another kit and write down the directions and take the measurements. And of course, the store no longer has the kits in stock!
And so the search began for what I think is the recipe that was in the box. I think I found it, based on what my hubby said he seemed to remember what was in the kit. So I have emailed her the link, and I am praying it is the recipe! I think I’ll buy the ingredients and have my hubby whip it up and see – it was really yummy! That is the best fudge I’ve ever eaten too! But I like the microwave fudge too – it is easier to cook! Have you tried any of those recipes?
