I’ve always had a hard time finding shoes that I like that actually fit my feet.  They are really extra wide with a high instep.  You would not believe how many shoes I have bought at the shoe store and then ended up only wearing once or twice because they rubbed blisters on my feet!  One thing I have learned about shoes is to make sure that I try them on after 2pm to make sure that they will fit my feet – I’ve learned that feet swell up in the afternoon and what fits in the morning will be too small in the afternoon!

I find it hard to keep up with all of the fashion trends.  I watch the television shows and see what is the new “in” style and usually am mortified!  I guess I am more of the “classic” style when it comes to fashion and fashion accessories.  Sometimes though I’d really like to have a professional makeover and see what a fashion and beauty expert could do with me!
