Ignorance is no longer an excuse

Mesothelioma Cancer seems to be a popular topic of legal commercials lately. I don’t normally watch a lot of television, but I have noticed that almost every time I do watch a show there is at least one commercial that comes on from a law firm that is reaching out to people who either have or lost a loved one due to Mesothelioma and offering assistance for them to sue places for it.
To be perfectly honest I don’t personally know anyone (that I am aware of!) that has that form of cancer. But I have lost several close friends and relatives to a variety of cancers, and it is heartbreaking to watch them go through radiation and chemo and end up dying anyway. I think that anyplace that mines or sells asbestos should stop immediately and make reparations.
I am glad, however, that science has found out that asbestos does cause it, and that companies are making an effort to control and contain it, to minimize the possibility of exposure to the general public. That is nothing to be ignored!
