New Furniture

One day I’ll be able to live in the kind of home with the furnishings of my dreams. I really didn’t think that it would take as long as it has to just get to where I currently am around the place. I’m grateful that my parents allowed me to take as much as I did when I flew the nest when I was 18. Not only did I bring with me my bedroom furniture but they gave me the dining room furniture and some of the living room furniture from the house as well. They were way over due for some nice new modern furniture and were glad to send me on my way with several truck loads of their beloved furnishings in order to make room for the new.
What I didn’t bring from home, I picked up from other family members, some friends, yard sales and plenty of thrift store specials. There isn’t a piece of brand new furniture in the whole house. I have been checking out a lot of neat furniture on the Internet that I’d love to get my hands on. Some good looking quality furniture is still coming out of Pennsylvania and you can still get good prices on stuff coming out of North Carolina, but the Internet makes it all so much easier to check out and compare.
