Going to Another Nascar Race With My Husband

Guest post written by my buddy Franklin Davenport

Every year, my husband and I try to make it to as many Nascar races as possible. We have come to love not only the races themselves, but also the close-knit community that has formed around them. There are many people who travel around the country in order to attend each Nascar race. While we can’t make it to every single race, we probably attend about 80% of them. My husband has started a business selling Nascar stickers, which has grown successful enough to be able to finance our trips completely.

The last trip that we took was a particularly good one. We went down to Florida, and all of our favorite Nascar drivers were going to be there. My husband and I often make friendly bets with each other as to who is going to win the race. The loser of the bet has to drive the car back home. We are always exhausted from the bustling activities at each event, so the winner typically gets to enjoy a nice long nap. Of course, before we leave, we always make sure that our home is secure by properly setting our ADT HOME SECURITY alarm. This way, we don’t have to worry about burglars or vandals breaking into our home while we are away. This is particularly important in our case, since most of our neighbors know that we regularly take these trips.
