When I was in high school, I loved the art classes and always felt satisfied after working on an art project and then leaving that class. My other classes were interesting and I had some great teachers, but none of them made me feel as happy or content as art. For awhile I even considered making my career in something creative, like fashion design or an Advertising Agency position.
What I didn’t realize at the time was that work at an Advertising Agency involved a lot more than just drawing pictures of a company’s products or illustrating storyboards for an advertising campaign or a video shoot. It was about getting attention.
A good Advertising Agency will know the right way to get positive attention for your company, your products or your services. They know which media will be the most effective and they know how to measure the consumer response to their campaign so that you can make adjustments if necessary and get the most value for your advertising investment. You can’t just make a commercial and then sit back and wait for the sales to roll in. You have to be planning, evaluating and preparing for the next event to keep pace with your competition and the changes in our economy.
