My sisters along with my good friend and I are talking about taking a week off this summer and doing a girls only beach week at Myrtle Beach. We used to go there years and years ago, but it has been way too long. We are all way over due for something like this at a place just like Myrtle Beach, which is on the Atlantic Ocean and has something for everyone.

Myrtle Beach has been doing very well due this past year because of BP’s oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico sending so many beach dwellers to beaches on the Atlantic. Thousands of vacationing families were looking to escape all of the oil issues that so many Gulf beaches were experiencing last year.

I’m not sure how the beaches are fairing this year, but it is still early in the season. I’m sure we will be hearing all about beach pollution and oil contamination issues on the news real soon.
