A food vendor at a large trade show introduced me to pierogies about 8 ears ago. I was learning about the convenience store delis and fast food industry, so I attended several large shows to meet the vendors and the attendees. I had never tasted these Polish dumplings before, but I like them a lot and have been a fan ever since. They are great with a variety of sauces and toppings, but I like them with just a small pat of butter and a little salt and pepper. Yum!
