Once again we were prepared for a major snow storm and we got nothing. Not even a drop of rain, which is fine with me since we have been having so much rain these past few months. It’s just that it gets so old listening to the weatherman and planning your day(s) according to their forecast only to find that they were completely wrong, once again. We could have done something today instead of staying in afraid of what the snow will bring.

Green Web Hosting Available
I’m so glad to hear that there are several web hosting providers that are joining the green movement. It is all about being as green as possible these days, and I’m all for it folks. I don’t know about you but I really want my kids and their kids and all the other kids that will come in the future to have all the things that I have gotten to enjoy in my lifetime. Clean Water, clean air and an earth that provides us will everything that we need as long as we provide her with things that she needs.
So if I can find a web hosting that feels the same way and the same color as I do then the more power to them and I really want to give them my tiny piece of pie, show them my support as well as urge others to follow suite. There are web hosting directories online that can fill you in on all that you need to know about any type of web hosting there is. The one that I was reading was very informative and I’ve decided on going with FatCow who is 100% wind powered, which is a big to do these days. They are even having a promotion right now that will save me some much needed cash, which by the way is a pretty green as well.
TLC’s The Cake Boss
I’m not sure how long TLC has been showing the TV show “The Cake Boss”. I started watching it now and then a couple months ago and I really like seeing the speciality cakes that this Italian-American family run bakery puts out for all kinds of people in all kinds of places celebrating all types of occasions with cake.
My sister also watches the show and we can only dream of ever purchasing a cake like they make. I’m sure they must run thousands of dollars and I don’t think we would ever have that type of money to spend on a cake, but who knows what the future will bring, so we will keep on dreaming. In the mean time I found a few pictures of some pretty cool looking cakes that are made by a lady in Russia that I wanted to post here with you.
Who, What, Where and How Much
With all of the talk about the rising price of gold these past couple of years, it makes me wish I had more of it and I wish that I knew more about it as well. I really could some extra cash for my unused, broken and/or unwanted gold jewelry, but jewelry has never really been my cup of tea. I’ve always been more into shoes to tell you the truth! And I’ll be honest with you in that I don’t think that I would trust most of the places that are advertising to buy these types of pieces, especially sending something like that blindly in the mail. Nope, not this gal.
If I did do something like this I’d go online and find what the current gold prices are and I’d go to a mall that had a kiosk buying gold. I think I would trust them more since they have to answer to Mall Management which would make me feel more at ease. It would be interesting to see what they say the gold price is verses what I’d found and take it from there. It wouldn’t take much to go online and find the price of gold, right?
At The End of The Day
I can’t go a day without hearing someone saying “at the end of the day” most days I’m hearing it 3, 4, 5 times, in my daily life and on TV as well. I can’t help wondering where this expression all of a sudden came from. I know that it isn’t really a “new” expression, it’s been around for some time, I know that I’ve used it before.
The more I think about it, I’m thinking that maybe it came from the Jerry Seinfeld show. I just might have to investigate this a bit online when I have some time with nothing else to do. Not sure where to start, but I’m up to for a challenge.
