Can You Spell BUSTED?

I have always enjoyed watching TV’s number one Top Chef on his various reality shows that he has become so popular for. And I have been meaning to try and catch his new show that is on FOX this year, but it just hasn’t happened yet. There are so many new shows on right now along with so many summer re runs that I’ve wanted to catch up on that it is impossible to see them all since I don’t have a DVR or TIVO at my disposal right now. I sure miss my DVR that I had with Direct TV for several years. TV viewing will never be the same with out it, I can tell you that.

On Yahoo tonight the first thing that popped up was about some Sharp-Eyed Viewers Catch Fox’s “MasterChef” Faking A Huge Crowd so I had to check it out what they had to say and then post it here. Here is the picture in question. It certainly looks like some photo hanky panky was done here to make it seem as if there were a whole lot more people there in line than actually did. Health and Fitness Knowledge and Power

I think that people turning to Health and Wellness Directory websites that are available on today’s World Wide Web is such a great step in the right direction for the general public to become more active and more knowledgeable in all their health care issues and concerns. I know that I have found a huge amount of information online for me and other folks that I care about and want to learn more for them as well. I just wish that more doctors would take in consideration that more people are not coming to them completely blind and 100% trusting of their diagnoses, prescriptions, referrals along with their directions and instructions. People are asking questions and that is a big turn off to a huge amount of health providers that are used to being put up on a very high pedestal and have come to expect us to be totally dependent on them totally and completely.

Anyway I have stumbled onto a pretty cool Fitness Directory – Health Directory at the-health-directory.net. When I find a good thing I like to pass it on and here on my blog has become a good way for me to fulfil my need to do just that on occasion. This website is still growing but I like the direction that it is going, so take a look see and you might learn something that will save your butt or someone else’s that you care about. Knowledge is power, to be sure.

If you ever want to see some of the most awesome cakes you really have to check out The Cake Boss on TLC. Each week this family bakery cranks out a crazy amount of cakes and pastries. But the real kick is the 2 or 3 customized cakes that these guys are pumping out and making a good chunk of change along the way I might add.

The Perfect Back Yard In The Making

One day I’ll have the Site Furnishings that I’ve always dreamed of having in my back yard. Each year I’m getting more and more done outside in an effort to turn it into a really wonderful place for me to enjoy all year round. I want Picnic Tables, a fire pit, bird feeders galore and of course a few Park Benches scattered around nicely and in good taste. It is a lot of work each year but I do enjoy getting outside and working with my hands and my aching back. I’m hoping that next year come April 15th I will be ready to do a good amount of purchases in order to make my dream of the perfect backyard come true.

My next door neighbors have a really great back yard. They have several awesome Adirondack chairs that I’d love to get my hands on for the place. I keep meaning to ask them where they got them from. Actually the whole neighborhood has done a great job of keeping their front, back and side yards looking nice and welcoming. There is a lot of outside entertaining during the summer months. On the weekends you can smell all kinds of wonderful grilling going on most of the day and well into the evenings. I just love summer!

The New Kool-Aid Craze

The Internet is filling up with recipes for the new food fad, the famous Fried Kool-Aid balls that some guy came up with and has started a craze that is growing like crazy. You can make them with any flavor of Kool-Aid, Cherry and Grape seem to be the top two, no surprise there folks.

These Kool-Aid Balls are being sold on boardwalks, concession stands, carnivals and festivals all over. I’m surprised I had not heard or seen these new food oddities, but I’ll being looking out now. I’ve always liked Kool-Aid and I’d give them a try, who knows……
