Shoes, Shoes and More Shoes, Please

I have always been a shoe freak. I used to drive my parents crazy with all the money that I spent on shoes and all of the shoes that I would come home with whenever I could. My closet was seriously over flowing with womens shoes and boots by the time I was ready to leave after graduating high school and it took over 5 moving boxes to pack them all up and take along.

Now that you can buy womens and men’s shoes over the Internet it has made it much easier to collect even more shoes than ever and I can’t imagine how many boxes it would take these days to pack them all up and move. Hope I don’t have to find out any time soon, just the thought of moving gives me a stomach ache. Way too much work involved in all that it takes to relocate with all the stuff (not just the shoes mind you) that I’ve collected through out the years.

They’re Everywhere!

This morning it seems as if all of the dandelions sprung up out of nowhere!  Just yesterday all I could see was green lawn, and today I see a rolling sea of yellow dandelion blossoms! I understand that these plants are edible, I really don’t want to see them living so heartily in my lawn and invading my garden! Did you know that dandelions were brought over to America from England by the settlers? They brought them over for their bees to make honey! They were afraid that there wouldn’t be any flowers over here for their honey bees!

The Skin Care History Site

It is so important to keep your skin in the best possible condition for so many reasons. This infographic is really interesting and the site that I found it at http://www.tanda.com is a really great site with some good quality information that I though folks would find not only interesting but educational as well.

I would also encourage my readers that do visit this recommended site to please click and vote on their home page to end bullying. With each vote Tanda will donate $1 to help put an end to this bullying issue that effects so many people, of all ages all over the world.

Sitting and Waiting

Here I sit waiting for the windshield repair man to arrive to replace my broken windshield that prevented me from having my car pass the State Inspection. I had to take the day off of work to have this done and I am a bit irked that he is all ready 45 minutes late. It’s rainy and chilly outside, go figure, it’s been beautiful weather for over a month now and the first time I take a day off it ends up being crappy.

I’m just not a happy camper today.

Sister’s move

Guest post by Gerard Mcdaniel

When my sister moved to New York, I was so excited to have her nearby. We have not lived close to each other in a long time. Even though we are sisters, we grew up being the best of friends. I feel sorry for people that do not have any siblings. You miss out on so much if you don’t have someone to share everything with. And after you lose your parents, it is always good to have someone that can remember the good old days when you were growing up. My sister’s house is only a few miles from mine. When she was moving in she needed to save as much money as possible because she lives on a limited income. I told her to go to NY natural gas to find a good deal on her natural gas. These days everyone has to try to save as much money as they can on all expenses. Then I had to show my sister the best places to shop for groceries, the best mall to go to for buying clothes, and a lot of other places. I want to help her as much as I can so she will be happy living here. We have spent a lot of time apart, and I don’t want her to ever move again.
