Pretty Shades of Wood

I have always enjoyed seeing the nice wood armouries that different people have their bedrooms and guest rooms. I’ve seen some real sweet jewelry armouries online recently that I’ve been contemplating purchasing. You can get some nice deals online these days. I look for free shipping (both ways of course) and other incentives for online shoppers, discount codes and coupons are always welcomed.

Researching your purchase online is a whole lot faster and easier and takes a lot of the guess and leg work out of the task. My mother took me to the local Sam’s Club last week, she has been a member with them for a long time and I always enjoy going with her looking at all of their great deals. They had some armouries that we were seriously looking at together, checking out the different sizes, the different pretty shades of wood and prices. I never really realized all the different types that they have out these days.

Now that I’ve seen some up close and personal like I feel better about looking online to find the best deal or possibly going back to Sam’s with my mother. One way or another I’m going to own a nice looking wooden armouries of my very own, especially since my mother intends to pass her’s down to my older sister to be kept in the family.

Lucky Kids Have Their Own Bedroom Furniture

Sometimes we think that the way we grew up is the only way that other families lived their lives. For example, in my house, each of us had our own bedrooms, with a bed, a dresser, a desk for homework and our own closet. Eventually we got our own TVs, too.
But a lot of kids have to share bedrooms and some even have to share their beds with others. I remember being surprised when we went to girl scout camp and one of the girls at camp told us that she loved camp because she got to have her own sleeping bag and didn’t have to share it with anyone. At her house, she shared her bed with two other sisters. They didn’t have a dresser – she used a shelf in their shared closet for her clothes.
My kids all had their own rooms, and I remember how much I enjoyed shopping for kids furniture boston when they were old enough to get out of the crib and baby nursery furniture and into a “big boy’s bed.” I loved shopping for their furniture and new sheets and curtains. Yes, my kids also had their own dresser and desk for homework, too. It is so much easier now in today’s world – with everything you could want just a mouse click away when you find it online.

Shoes, Shoes and More Shoes, Please

I have always been a shoe freak. I used to drive my parents crazy with all the money that I spent on shoes and all of the shoes that I would come home with whenever I could. My closet was seriously over flowing with womens shoes and boots by the time I was ready to leave after graduating high school and it took over 5 moving boxes to pack them all up and take along.

Now that you can buy womens and men’s shoes over the Internet it has made it much easier to collect even more shoes than ever and I can’t imagine how many boxes it would take these days to pack them all up and move. Hope I don’t have to find out any time soon, just the thought of moving gives me a stomach ache. Way too much work involved in all that it takes to relocate with all the stuff (not just the shoes mind you) that I’ve collected through out the years.

Shoes

Fashion and comfort. Those two words seem to be irreconcileable. Why do you suppose that is? When I get fashion catalogs in the mail, I’ve noticed that many times the items that are the most “fashion forward” also appear to be the most uncomfortable.  For example, high heels. I have tried to learn to wear high heels during my life time but with extra wide feet that are almost impossible to fit I have not had very much good luck with that. My closet is full of shoes that I have worn only once or twice and then retired.

When I am lucky enough to find some shoes in a store that fit me, I try to buy a couple of pairs in different colors.  I know that is a stereotype, women buying a lot of the same style shoes, but when you find some you like that actually feel good you want to stock up because you never know when you will be lucky enough to find more shoes that will fit; it could be several years!
